The Red Hot Chili Peppers will return with their 10th album I’m With You on August 30, and the funk-rock icons are planning a huge celebration for its release. The band will perform the record straight through – followed by a set of select hits – at a live show in Cologne, Germany, and the performance will be broadcast in high-definition in theaters globally. Screening information is available at their official site, and tickets are on-sale today. Watch the trailer for the gig below.

As SPIN previously reported, RHCP warmed up for their show with an intimate gig in Big Sur, CA, on July 27. Anthony Kiedis and Co. debuted five new songs, including the high-energy pop tune “Monarchy of Roses” and the fittingly titled “Ethiopia,” which was inspired by a trip Flea and guitarist Josh Klinghoffer took to Africa.

Expect I’m With You to be one of the group’s most diverse albums yet. Flea told SPIN in June that the boys “found a new side of ourselves” while recording the record, and the bassist wrote much of the material on piano for the first time. “It’s a huge difference in the creative process and the end product,” he said. “It has the violent rocking sound and it’s real funky.”
