Recondite's "Stems (Into the Dew Mix)" ends exactly as it starts: fading into shifting whispers of white noise gleaned from his field recordings. Like the others tracks on the Berlin-based producer's forthcoming album, Hinterland, "Stems" uses sounds gathered from the German landscape to embellish blunted house beats with mystical emotion. On this version, the soft clicks and whistles reverberate between the burbling bass tones and glittering, lullaby-like melodies, which creates a cavernous effect and slinky momentum. The original mix of "Stems" will see the light of day on November 11.
