Rage Against the Machine Up Close and Personal

Festival

As you can imagine, or have possibly experienced, the pit during a Rage Against the Machine show often evolves into unruly whirlpool of fervent fans, many spilling over the dividing walls into the photo pit. As was the case at the politico-rockers' headlining performance at New Orleans' Voodoo Festival Saturday night (Oct. 27), and in response, when the Los Angeles-born outfit stepped onstage the next night in Las Vegas to cap Vegoose, security up front was a tightly knit ordeal: only a handful of photographers were allowed into the pit, and ours was one of them. Enjoy the photos below; you won't find too many like these anywhere else!
