Radiohead Reportedly Has a New Song Called ‘Spooks’ in ‘Inherent Vice’

Radiohead New Song Spooks Inherent Vice

Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood has a long established musical partnership with director Paul Thomas Anderson, but after contributing scores to 2007’s There Will Be Blood and 2012’s The Master, it seems that he’s decided to give a little something extra to his soundtrack work on this year’s Inherent Vice. In addition to the score, Slate reports that he’s allowed an unreleased Radiohead cut called “Spooks” to make an appearance in the film. They describe the song as a new instrumental featuring “surf-rock guitar” and point to a live performance from 2006 where the band performs a track of the same name. You can check out that performance below, but you’ll likely have to wait until the film’s December 12 release to check out the studio version.
