R. Kelly, Missy Cookin’ on Charts

R. Kelly and Missy Elliott are No. 1 and No. 2, respectively, on this week’s Billboard chart with cooking-referential albums. TP3: Reloaded is the fifth chart-topper for R., featuring its double entendre-laden single “Sex in the Kitchen” and the epic video saga that no one really seems to understand, but everyone just loves to watch; the album sold 491,000 copies. Missy Elliott’s The Cookbook moved 176,000 units this week, an improvement over the first week sales of her last album, 2003’sThis Is Not a Test! Though hip-hop was dominant on the charts this week, Coldplay’s X&Y held strong at No. 3, selling 127,000 copies, while the Foo Fighters’ double album, In Your Honor, clocked in at No. 9 with 66,000 copies sold.
