Queens of the Stone Age have been awfully generous with their live shows lately. The …Like Clockwork heavyweights recently shared footage of their June 5 Live on Letterman gig, streamed their May 23 Los Angeles concert for all the Internet to see, and just announced an extensive tour of North America that’ll keep them onstage through October. In another turn of kindness, Josh Homme and crew let fans pick the set list for their in-store performance at London’s Rough Trade East last night (June 11). QOTSA opened with “My God is the Sun” and moved into 2000’s “Monsters in the Parasol,” then started taking requests (via NME). “Make It Wit Chu,” “Smooth Sailing,” “Go With the Flow,” “Burn the Witch,” “I Sat By the Ocean,” and “I Appear Missing” followed and, luckily, clips of every song (except for “Parasol,” unfortunately) have surfaced online.
