Queens of the Stone Age offered another precision-bludgeoning preview of June 4 album …Like Clockwork last night, this time on the BBC’s Later… With Jools Holland. They performed maraca-shaking blast “My God Is the Sun” and jaunty, slide-guitar-bent “I Sat by the Ocean.” The band has performed both songs live before, but it’s our first look at video of the latter. In any event, these clips are further, searing proof that when Queens of the Stone Age happen to be playing at a festival, there’s no such thing as a set-time conflict.
QOTSA shared a short clip yesterday for …Like Clockwork‘s “Kalopsia.” At the time, the band tweeted that more would be following today. So, um, keep your eyes peeled.
