Queens of the Stone Age spent some quality time with David Letterman last night (June 5). The hard-rock heavyweights appeared on the Late Show to perform “My God Is the Sun,” the dizzying lead single from their latest album, …Like Clockwork. QOTSA gave the strong-selling LP an extra promotional push by playing a full 58-minute set for the Live on Letterman concert series. Check out the single-song clip above, and watch the entire Live on Letterman webcast below. (If after you’re in the mood for something softer, stream Olivier Libaux’s bossa nova cover of QOTSA’s “No One Knows.”)

The desert wanderers will play the Late Show again tonight, June 6. Pass the time till then by flipping through SPIN’s list of the 40 Best Albums of 2013 So Far, where …Like Clockwork clocked in.
