The Pygmalion Music Festival will return for its ninth annual event later this year, and the three-day showcase — happening from September 26 to 28 in Champaign-Urbana, Illionois — promises live sets from Major Lazer, the Breeders, Youth Lagoon, Chance the Rapper, Foxygen, and many more.
Other artists booked for the upcoming event include: the Head & the Heart, Dawes, Warpaint, Daughter, Perfume Genius, METZ, Damien Jurado, Kishi Bashi, Psychic Twin, Jenny Hval, Murder By Death, Caveman, K.Flay, Saturday Looks Good to Me, On An On, Nat Baldwin, Common Loon, PHOX, Detective, Justin Walter, Grandkids, the Dirty Feathers, Elsinore, the Struggle, and Sun Stereo. More performers will be announced in June.
Tickets for Pygmalion 2013 go on sale on Tuesday, May 7 at noon CST.
Last year’s roster featured Grizzly Bear, Dirty Projectors, Best Coast, Dinosaur Jr., Cloud Nothings, Tennis, Frankie Rose, and Lotus Plaza.
