With a new Tool album still a long way off, Maynard James Keenan's oddball Puscifer project has a remix compilation on the way. A remix compilation that, yes, features Sir Mix-a-lot. Of course, that fierce Jane Fonda critic is far from the only producer contributing to All Re-Mixed Up, which arrives August 27. As Pure Volume points out, Nashville's Five Knives have remixed "Toma," a growling Conditions of My Parole track that Puscifer previously performed on Jimmy Kimmel LIve!. Five Knives' "burnt out" remix emphasizes electronic bursts while, as befits the title, hollowing out the original's thick percussion.
