Punk Rock Bowling with Me First and the Gimme Gimmes
This weekend marked the 9th annual Punk Rock Bowling tournament presented by B.Y.O. Records and organized by Youth Brigade's Shawn Stern. Over 200 punk rock bowling teams from around the world landed in Las Vegas, NV to participate, with Epitaph Records declaring victory by one pin over Team B.Y.O. Friday night's opening ceremony included performances from Strike Anywhere and the Bouncing Souls, while Saturday followed with squads knocking pins over to NOFX and Dead to Me. Black Fag helped close out the fest, as did pop-punk covers maestros Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, who donned cowboy attire to rollick through a set of country covers.
