Jimmy Fallon’s musical director needs to get a raise, because the acts he’s been booking for the comedian’s Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon have been nothing short of legendary. Continuing Fallon’s musical hot streak, rap icons Public Enemy hit the show’s stage last night to perform their classic track “Public Enemy No. 1” with help from ?uestlove, Black Thought, and the Roots.

The performance is typical Flavor Flav and Chuck D realness, the two men mean-mugging and trading rhymes to mark the upcoming 30th anniversary of their former record label, Def Jam. Flav sports his signature clock in miniature form, a nicely toned-down touch if you ask us. Watch the performance above.
