The man police say was shot by D-12 rapper, Proof, before Proof was shot and killed, died on Tuesday (April 17).
Keith Bender, 35, had been at the St. John Hospital and Medical Center in critical condition since being shot in the head last week at the Detroit nightclub, CCC. He died of his wounds early Tuesday morning, according to The Associated Press.
After Proof shot Bender, Mario Etheridge, Bender’s cousin, opened fire on the D-12 rapper. Proof was pronounced dead on arrival at a nearby hospital shortly after suffering three gunshot wounds — one to the head and two to the chest.
