Poliça have confirmed the release date for their highly anticipated second album, Shulamith. The follow-up to last year’s Give You the Ghost will arrive in the U.S. on October 22 via Mom + Pop, a day after it lands in the U.K. on October 21 via Memphis Industries.
The Minneapolis double-drummer unit paired the announcement with a new remix of “Tiff” done by the Weeknd producer Doc McKinney. Originally, the song reunited Poliça’s Channy Leaneagh and Ryan Olson with Gayngs bandmate Justin Vernon for an atmospheric, languid lead single, the first taste of Shulamith. This new version tightens the pace, introduces some fidgety drum tracks, and proudly spotlights Vernon’s auto-tuned pleas. Hear it below, followed by track list and upcoming tour dates.
