All things come to an end, and the union between Pharrell Williams and his ridiculous Grammys hat is no different. The Oscar-nominated singer/songwriter/producer/workaholic has put his favorite piece of oversize headgear up for auction. Yes, the Vivienne Westwood design that Pharrell hid under during the 56th Annual Grammy Awards can now be yours for the not-so-low price of $10,500 (as of time of writing). The brown, Dudley Do Right-ripping lid is currently biddable on eBay and will remain so until March 2.

Don’t be sad for Pharrell, though — he’s doing away with the so-called “Mountain” hat for a good cause. All proceeds from the auction will benefit From One Hand to Another, a nonprofit founded by Pharrell. The group’s mission is “to change the world one kid at a time by giving them the tools and resources to meet their unique potential.”

In a statement (via the Hollywood Reporter), Pharrell said, “I’m giving up the Buffalo Hat I wore to the Grammys to help underserved kids get the educational tools they need.” The “Happy” singer added, “Our organization, From One Hand to Another, is committed to bringing kids experiences that ignite their passions, challenge their minds and prepare them for success.”

The “Get Lucky” star certainly qualifies as a model for success. As mentioned earlier, he’s up for an Oscar, is set to perform at the annual Academy Awards ceremony on March 2, just performed at the BRIT Awards, recently nabbed a few Grammys, and will soon release his first solo album in eight years. Speaking of which: Popjustice has revealed the track list for Pharrell’s upcoming G I R L and confirmed that the LP, which arrives on March 3 via Columbia, will feature guest appearances by Daft Punk (of course), Justin Timberlake, Miley Cyrus, and Alicia Keys.
