Pete Doherty flew to Portugal on June 5 with the intention of entering a drug rehabilitation center, NME reports. Doherty will spend the first few weeks of the program in detox before being fitted with “an opiate-suppressing implant.” While Doherty’s previous attempts to detox haven’t ended well, the singer is reportedly adamant about cleaning up his act.
