Pearl Jam is set to play Saturday Night Live on March 13, playing songs from their recent No. 1 record, 2009's Backspacer.

It's certainly not the first time Vedder and the gang -- who scored Artist of the Year and Album of the Year titles in SPIN's 2009 Readers' Poll -- have played SNL: Check out footage of the Seattle band's epic performance of "Alive" from 1992, plus a 1994 rehearsal of "Not For You" below.

Though tickets to catch Saturday Night Live are hard to come by -- most tickets are distributed once a year, in August --standby tix for the show and dress rehearsal may be available at 7 A.M. on the day of the show. (Details are available here.)
