Pearl Jam Hits the Long Road

Eddie Vedder and co. will soon be coming to a town near you.

Pearl Jam has announced dates for the first leg of their 2006 world tour in support of their May 2 self-titled release. One week after the album hits stores, the band will kick off the trek in Toronto, Ontario on May 9, and will hit cities including Chicago, Detroit, Boston, and Philadelphia, wrapping the first set of dates on June 3 in East Rutherford, New Jersey. My Morning Jacket will provide tour support.

While Pearl Jam’s Ten Club members can start buying tickets on March 8, the rest of the band’s fans will have to wait a little longer; a public on-sale date has not been announced.
