Punk elder statesman Paul Weller has announced an additional Los Angeles show set for Feb. 5 at the Avalon Theatre. After swiftly selling out three dates at New York City's Irving Plaza (Jan. 29-31) and two gigs at L.A.'s Avalon (Feb. 3 and 4) -- all presented by Spin and Adidas Originals -- it seems the undying demand from fans has spoken. Tickets will go on sale for the added show Dec. 22 at noon PST at livenation.com, but if you're one of Weller's lucky SPIN.com friends, enter the password "HitParade" to get your mitts on pre-sale tickets Dec. 21 at noon PST.
With such a solid cross-Atlantic fan base, the Jam and Style Council alumnus can really celebrate his career's 30th anniversary and the forthcoming release of Hit Parade, a career retrospective available in stores Jan. 23.
