Happy Valentine's Day, people who love watching other people's bad relationships. Passion Pit's "Carried Away" carries more than a whiff of the Talking Heads' equally jaunty "This Must Be the Place (Naive Melody)" in its keyboard-pop DNA, but nothing about the song's newly posted video feels like home. Instead, the Boston band's main man, Michael Angelakos, engages in a series of subtitle-driven fights and apologies with a lover, played by former One Tree Hill actress Sophia Bush. "We all have problems," Angelakos sings, but it's hard to have too much sympathy for this otherwise successful-looking couple without knowing more about them than their self-inflected traumas and grandiose gestures (she once looked cute doing martial arts, so he apologizes via skywriting?). It's still crazy to think that for this deceptively cheery-sounding litany of woes, from last year's Gossamer, the place turned out to be Madison Square Garden.
