Four Tet keeps successfully building suspense for the upcoming album he produced for Syrian star Omar Souleyman. “Our music doesn’t change,” Souleyman told SPIN recently through an interpreter. The U.K. producer born Kieran Hebden previewed the material he captured the dabke folk-pop singer in an Amsterdam DJ set on June 1, and the festival crowd went into raptures. The audio in that clip wasn’t ideal, though, and now a better-quality version has emerged. In a recent DJ set with BBC Radio 6’s Gilles Peterson for Dalston, England’s NTS (via Dazed), Hebden once again unleashed the giddy, intoxicating dance-floor crasher, though he didn’t share the title.
