Jonny Dubowsky, frontman of downtown NYC band Jonny Lives!, laid into his set with all the energy of a late-'60s Iggy Pop, minus the heroin but with expert, Hendrix-esque guitar maneuvers. From a record that drew inspiration from rock-star parties (like a 48-hour bash in the U.K. and a raucous weekend NYC's East Village), Jonny Lives! ran through the tracks off their debut album, Get Steady, like the party was just getting started.
