Finally, after years of blossoming demand, one of the quintessential rock moments of the '90s will hit DVD for the first time ever; yes indeed, you can now bask in the mossy greens of Kurt Cobain's cardigan for Nirvana's MTV Unplugged in New York performance will hit stores shelves Nov. 20 via Universal Music Enterprises, Billboard.com reports. The show, originally taped Nov. 18 1993, some six months before the frontman's untimely death, will, much the like the CD offering, including "Something in the Way" and "Oh Me," both of which did not appear in the original broadcast. Also arriving with Nirvana's Unplugged DVD -- surely to please hardcore fans -- are four tracks from the band's soundcheck and previously unreleased behind-the-scenes footage.

Modest Mouse Slate More Shows with Man Man, Love as Laughter

Kinda like these guys, Modest Mouse and Man Man will continue to cultivate their birthed-from-the-road camaraderie with yet another spattering of dates appended to the bands' previously unveiled fall shows. The freshly minted 11-date jaunt, also toting longtime Modest Mouse pals and Glacial Pace rockers Love as Laughter, will hit cities like Columbia, MO, Albuquerque, Chicago, and Tucson before concluding in New Orleans Dec. 15, just in time for the holiday season

Sondre Lerche Maps North American Tour

Swedish troubadour Sondre Lerche has mapped a North American solo outing set to kick off Nov. 7 in Vancouver, BC. From there, Lerche, continuing to support his Astralwerks LP Phantom Punch will hit cities such as Seattle, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Toronto. Lerche's 19-date outing will finish with a jaunt throughout the Easter Seaboard, including stops into Boston, New York, and Philadelphia.
