Watch Night Terrors of 1927’s Explosive ‘Dust and Bones’ Video

Night Terrors

Blake Sennett hasn’t slowed down since Rilo KIley’s demise. As that now-defunct Los Angeles indie-rock band preps a rarities album and singer Jenny Lewis finishes up her next solo album, guitarist Sennett — also leader of Sub Pop alums the Elected — has been busy with Night Terrors of 1927. The duo of Sennett and Jarrod Gorbel, former frontman for Brooklyn band the Honorary Title, have only three songs on their SoundCloud page: catchy, slightly off-kilter synth-pop in the vein of Passion Pit. They’ve now released a video for one of those three songs, dramatically lofty “Dust and Bones.” The clip blends archival footage of boxing matches, auto races, explosions, weddings, and more with brief glimpses of the band members; the song is also available on iTunes
