Last time we checked in with British rock sensations Arctic Monkeys, the quartet had begun work on the follow-up to last year's superb Favourite Worst Nightmare.Fast-forward a couple of months: The frigid primates are still toiling -- but the heavily-anticipated new record could be finished by the end of the month!
Drummer Matt Helders spoke to British newspaper The Guardian about the group's progress. "We're gonna do a bit more recording [in November] and then we'll probably be in [the band's rehearsal space] for most of December getting ready to go out again." But luckily for fans the Monkeys are willing to sacrifice time for quality. "It's probably do-able for us to finish it in this next block. But we don't want to put pressure on by saying, 'We've got to finish it this time.'"
