Exciting news! Radiohead will emerge from the consoling confines of World Wide Web and hit the U.S. for a real live tour, no, not a webcast, but an in the flesh affair. So far only the cities in which Radiohead will grace us with In Rainbows— which hit the No. 1 slot atop the Billboard 200 today! — have beenannounced. Further details will be unveiled soon; but the questionremains: what does it take to sate frontman Thom Yorke‘s fear of the road?

Just when you thought it could get messy, the domestic abuse case between Shins multi-instrumentalist Marty Crandall and his blog-happy ex-girlfriend, former America’s Next Top Model contestant Elyse Sewell, “was rejected due [to] insufficient evidence,” a Sacramento County District Attorney’s office spokesperson told The Portland Mercury. So, apparently blog entries are not admissible in a court of law — thank god! [Via Pitchfork]

To preview tunes from their new album, Konk, which will arrive stateside April 15 via Astralwerks, Brit sensations the Kookswill cross the pond in February and treat fans’ ears to a pair ofspecial shows drawing heavily from the new, forthcoming set. The gigs,slated for Los Angeles’ Troubadour and Brooklyn’s Music Hall ofWilliamsburg Feb. 7 and Feb. 12, respectively, will be followed by aproper U.S. tour in May, a spokesperson confirmed.

And the spring tour news keeps rolling on in; endearing Swede crooner Jens Lekman will return to the U.S. for a 14-date tour behind his latest record Night Falls Over Kortedala, set to kick off at SXSW March 13. The investigation into the murder of Linda Stein, former Ramones co-manager and ex-wife of Sire Records founder Seymour Stein, has revealed that the suspect, Stein’s then assistant Natavia Lowery, was financially motivated. According to The New York Post,Lowery was stealing thousands of dollars from Stein, and possiblysending the money to her boyfriend in Virginia Beach, VA, also thefather of Lowery’s unborn child.
