What was once a yet-to-be specified date in April, has become a much less vague; Yes, Gnarls Barkley -- the dynamic duo of multi-tasking producer Danger Mouse and crooner Cee-Lo -- have slated a release date for their forthcoming follow up to 2006's smash pop collage St. Elsewhere: The aptly titled Odd Couple will arrive to U.S. store shelves April 8. Mark your calendars.

As if Sonic Youth's Thurston Moore wasn't busy enough, the towering rocker, in addition to supporting his solo set, Trees Outside the Academy, scoring porn flicks, and running that label of his, Ecstatic Peace!, is preparing a Sonic Youth art exhibit. "We're putting together this museum show that's utilizing all the artists that we've worked with on different covers and concepts, and that's going to happen for two or three years," Moore told New York magazine. "It's going to happen in young museums; there's one outside of Paris, there's one in Malmö, Sweden." Moore also said New York's Whitney Museum is an option. What's more is Sonic You plan to perform at each exhibit. Oh, and just in case you were pondering the set list, Moore and crew will likely unveil new tunes their working on for the follow up to Rather Ripped. [Via Pitchfork]

Just when you thought the bill (Pearl Jam! Metallica! Kanye!) couldn't get more impressive, officials behind the 2008 installment of Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival pull a fast one: Legendary comedian Chris Rock will perform at this summer's event, slated to hit the lush grass lands outside Manchester, TN June 12-15. Rock, unlike the other comedians, will perform "a special one-hour set on Bonnaroo's main stage in front of one of the largest audiences ever for a comedy show," explained a statement.
