The 14-date outing kicks off March 19 in Baltimore and rolls to a stop in the desert of California; yep, that's right astute readers, Stars are included in Coachella's amazing lineup. Check out the full dates over at Pitchfork.
Minneapolis' Tapes 'n Tapes will release their sophomore set, Walk it Off, April 8 via XL. The new album was produced by Dave Fridmann (Flaming Lips, Sleater-Kinney, Weezer), and is the follow up to 2006's acclaimed LP The Loon. Looks like they finally nailed down those lyrics!
Taking a page from Alice in Chains' manual, How to Reunite After Your Lead Singer Dies From a Drug Overdose, SoCal rockers Blind Melon have reformed and will drop For My Friends April 22, their first record of new material in 13 years, since frontman Shannon Hoon's death. The new album will feature vocalist Travis Warren, as well as original members Rogers Stevens (guitar), Christopher Thorn (guitar), Brad Smith (bass), and Glen Graham (drums).
