Aside from the moderate success of his mid-'90s projects, notably Marvelous 3, singer/songwriter and producer extraordinaire Butch Walker has spent much of his career behind the scenes, writing and producing for chart-busting acts like Fall Out Boy, All-American Rejects, Avril Lavigne, Pink, the Academy Is..., and even Lindsey Lohan. But now, with his forthcoming album Sycamore Meadows, Walker is again ready to step into the spotlight. "Going Back/Going Home," a folk-tinged crooner lush in banjos and mandolin, is a decided departure from his previous modern rock material and only adds credence to Walker's versatility and songwriting knack.
