Rihanna has broken up with boyfriend Matt Kemp, according to Us magazine. The pop star, who dated the Los Angeles Dodger for over a year, ended the relationship some time over the last few weeks. “She basically was just over it,” says a source close to the singer. [Us]
The troubles continue for U2’s Spider-Man musical: lead actress Natalie Mendoza, who suffered a concussion during a performance last month, is reportedly leaving the show, which has been repeatedly delayed due to staging and production difficulties. On a brighter note, ticket sales for preview performances have been sold out, grossing close to $1 million for the week of December 26. [The New York Times]

Bon Jovi, AC/DC, and U2 have had the highest-grossing tours of the year, according to industry publication Pollstar. Bon Jovi came in at No. 1, grossing $201 million for his 80-date 2010 world tour. AC/DC came in second, earning $177 million for 40 dates, while U2 scored third place with $161 million for 32 gigs. Overall, ticket sales were down 12 percent to $2.93 billion worldwide compared to 2009. [Reuters]
Flavor Flav will release a memoir titled Icon in March. The book will chronicle the rapper’s early days in Public Enemy, his struggles with addiction and the law, and his recent revival as a reality TV star. [MTV]
