MP3
There's nothing like the dark, moody lyrics of Polly Jean Harvey to brighten your day… no, seriously.

"Black Hearted Love," the opening track off A Woman A Man Walked By (out March 30), her collaboration with longtime producer John Parish, finds Harvey delivering the brooding, disturbing vocal beauty she's know for: "When you call out my name in rapture / You call out my soul for murder / And you are my black hearted love," Harvey shudders over screeching Sonic Youth-style guitars courtesy of Parish, who also sings backup on the album. It's certainly a promising peek at the duo's upcoming record.
