Watch New Order Revive ‘Love Will Tear Us Apart’ at Bestival 2012

New Order

New Order recently released Live at Bestival 2012, a 13-track live album documenting their performance at the titular festival. The synth-rock icons played many of their own classic songs (“Blue Monday,” “Bizarre Love Triangle,” “The Perfect Kiss,” etc.), but they also dug into the Joy Division catalog. Now, SPIN is proud to present video footage of New Order performing “Love Will Tear Us Apart” at last year’s Bestival event. The beautifully shot clip catches frontman Bernard Sumner leading the audience through a massive sing-along as the Low-Life legends pay tribute to their fallen Joy Division comrade, the late Ian Curtis. Watch it above.

Live at Bestival 2012 is currently streaming in full via the Guardian, but the record is also available for purchase via Sunday Best, iTunes, and Amazon. All of the album’s profits will benefit the Isle of Wight Youth Trust, a charity organization that offers “counseling, advice, information and support services to young people aged 25 and under on [England’s] Isle of Wight.”
