Though the title of their latest song might sound like a gentle warning, the Noisettes are hardly mindful of listeners' expectations, as the London trio thrive on throwing unexpected sonic turns into their songs. "Mind the Gap," as featured on full-length debut What's the Time Mr. Wolf?, blends black metal riffs, hyper-speed tra la la la las, and a jazzy soprano in charismatic lead noisemaker Shingai Shoniwa, who emotes like Karen O channeling Billie Holiday. What's the Time Mr. Wolf? will clock in April 17 thanks to Universal Motown.
