Nas and Q-Tip Celebrate 'One Love' and 'The World Is Yours' on 'Fallon'

'Illmatic XX' anniversary reissue due April 15

Dan Reilly

With his Illmatic XX reissue due next week, Nas headed to The Tonight Show to celebrate the landmark album's 20th anniversary with a little help from none other than Q-Tip. They started with "One Love," which was originally produced by the Tribe star, in a reserved performance that saw the icons mainly sitting on stools and backed by the Roots' expert musicianship. Q-Tip seemed like the more energetic of the two, continually shouting "whoo!" and "20 years!" They stuck around for a Web-only exclusive of "The World Is Yours," which Q-Tip previously remixed. That rendition featured more intensity from both rappers and the Roots, with the crowd getting even more into it. Watch both performances here and pick up Illmatic XX on April 15 via Sony Legacy.
