My Goodness Tell a ‘Benjamin Button’ Story in ‘Bottle/Say You’re Gone’ Video

My Goodness

They say youth is wasted on the young — a concept Seattle blues-rock outfit My Goodness explores in their short-film-ish “Bottle/Say You’re Gone” video, which blends two songs from their 2014 Shiver + Shake album. The eight-minute clip introduces a grizzly old timer, who wakes from a Rip Van Winkle-like sleep and strolls up to the roof for a bath. Anyway, the ol’ grey beard must have stepped into a hot tub time machine, because suddenly he’s young and spry again, and chasing after a pretty girl the viewer can only assume is a lost love — a woman of whom he had visions before transforming.

See if the couple rekindles their highly unusual May-December romance above, grab Shiver + Shake on iTunes, and look out for My Goodness on tour, co-headlining with Crash Kings.
