As Japan struggles to recover from last month's catastrophic earthquake and tsunami, My Chemical Romance have rallied to raise money for victims of the disaster. The band are offering up a re-worked version of their single "Sing" to benefit the Red Cross, which you can hear here and purchase via iTunes.

The new version of "Sing," retitled "#SINGItForJapan," has been re-worked from a hard-charging rocker into a sweeping orchestral number, with melodies that the band says reflect classic Japanese themes. My Chem also released a video with the song, which starts with heartbreaking footage of survivors struggling to rebound from the disaster.
