Music Midtown 2013 Lineup: Phoenix, Queens of the Stone Age, Kendrick Lamar, and More

Atlanta’s Music Midtown festival returns this fall, promising live performances from Red Hot Chili Peppers, Queens of the Stone AgeYeah Yeah YeahsPhoenix, and Kendrick Lamar. The two-day showcase takes place on September 20 and 21 in Piedmont Park. 

The rest of the lineup is rounded out by 2 Chainz, Jane’s Addiction, Weezer, Tegan and Sara, Arctic Monkeys, Imagine Dragons, Journey, Cake, the Black Lips, North Mississippi Allstars, the Neighbourhood, Capital Cities, ZZ Ward, Drivin N Cryin, the Mowgli’s, Mona, and Reignwolf. 

Tickets for Music Midtown go on sale Saturday, June 22 at 10 a.m., presumably local time, with presale offers beginning Wednesday, June 19 at 10 a.m. Passes range from $40 (single-day, early bird, general admission) to $1,000 (two-day, “Super VIP”). Early-bird pricing ends August 1. 

This year marks the third annual installment of Music Midtown since the event was revived in 2011. Originally, the festival ran from 1994 to 2005 before being put on hiatus from 2006 to 2010. Last year’s edition featured Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam, the Avett Brothers, Girl Talk, Ludacris, Florence + the Machine, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, and Garbage.
