Moon King Invite the ‘Apocalypse: Roswell’ in New Video

Moon King
Toronto shimmer-rock outfit Moon King have released an ambitious new video for two tracks: “Apocalypse” and “Roswell.” Taken from their forthcoming debut album, Secret Life, “Apocalypse” and “Roswell” (which are edited down to the simpler title “Apocalypse:Roswell”) have been given black-and-white visuals shot at Toronto’s Blockbuster Studios. Though its simple coloring may indicate a minimally shot clip, the end result is anything but: The band noticably pours every last bit of pent-up energy into their on-camera performance, which looks like it could’ve been taken straight from one of their live shows. “‘Apocalypse’ and ‘Roswell’ were originally one idea that was split into two separate songs,” vocalist Daniel Benjamin tells SPIN. “They still share some musical elements and have always been two sides of the same coin.”
