Minus the Bear to Tour, Release Remix Album

Seattle’s Minus the Bear have announced a cross-country trek that begins in Chicago Oct. 5 and makes stops across the U.S. before finishing up Nov. 10 in San Francisco. Touring in support of their 2005 album, Menos El Oso, the band will visit fans in cities including Philadelphia, Atlanta, Houston, and Los Angeles. Opening acts will include Russian Circles and California’s the Velvet Teen. Prior to the headlining trek, the band will play two Seattle fests: the Hegpeth Festival on July 28 and the July 29 Capitol Hill Block Party. When not preparing for their month-long tour, Minus the Bear has been working on a remix version of Menos, slated tentatively for release on Feb. 20, 2007. Dalek, Battles, Weird Science, P.O.S., Fog, Jay Clark (Pretty Girls Make Graves), Dark Baby, and IQU are among the contributors to the remix project.
