Over the weekend on Instagram, Miley Cyrus shared some "creepy" family photos (ew), shots of her new pet piglet (aw), and, well, three different poorly Photoshopped versions of Nicki Minaj's "Anaconda" cover art featuring her head tacked onto the rapper's body. Aside from some playful hashtags and attempts to direct the posts at Minaj herself, the Bangerz singer offered little context for the strange pictures, one of which featured her old Hannah Montana character grafted onto the ass-tastic album art.
The last, and perhaps the most technically skilled, attempt at the photo-stitching also featured a plea for votes in the upcoming VMAs so maybe it's all an attention-seeking stunt for the one year anniversary of her now infamous performance. Nicki expressed her own bewilderment about the images, reposting one of the pictures to her own account with the caption "give me one good reason why Miley made this her twitter avi"—which seems like a pretty reasonable demand all things considered.
Is it just us, or did Minaj's skin get a little lighter for this series?
