Odd Future’s MellowHigh aren’t making attention-mongering moves or doing much to anger Middle America. Hodgy Beats, Domo Genesis, and Left Brain are pretty much just smoking weed and rapping — keeping it real in the mode of Southern Californian forefathers like G-Funk’s 213 and Stones Throw’s Lootpack.

Those vibes are captured pretty perfectly by the “Extinguisher” video above, which finds the trio casually doing their thing inside of a couch-enriched garage (cameos by Tyler, the Creator and Taco). Of course, one could stream the group’s entire debut album, MellowHigh, below as well too, via Myspace.

The 13-track set features drop-ins by Curren$y, Earl Sweatshirt, Smoke DZA, Remy Banks, and Tyler, and is something of a follow-up to recent albums by MellowHype (Numbers) and Domo’s Alchemist-assisted No Idols. Come to think of it, Hodgy recently released a new one, too. Check out the video for MellowHigh’s “Yu” for more.
