Meek Mill Sentenced Jail Parole Violation

Meek Mill has been sentenced to three to six months in county jail, according to reports from Philadelphia’s Fox 29, via Billboard. The Dreams and Nightmares rapper had “multiple violations” of his parole.

The Maybach Music Group affiliate spent eight months in jail in 2008 following a conviction for gun and drug offense, after which he was placed on on five years of probation. According to Billboard, he reportedly posted a photo of himself holding a gun, but TMZ reports that the parole violations in question include scheduling concerts without approval from authorities, bashing the District Attorney’s office on Twitter, and changing his cell phone number.

The former SPIN profile subject is set to release his next album Dreams Worth More Than Money on September 9.
