It’s no surprise that Madonna, in her latest, classiest incarnation as a proper British matron, would turn down a garish multimillion dollar deal to perform in Las Vegas. According to the New York Post, Vegas businessman Jack Wishna offered Madonna a deal that rivals Celine Dion’s $150 million gig at one of the major hotel/casinos in Las Vegas. Lady Madge turned the deal down, but don’t count her out yet: She plans to release a new album, Confessions on a Dancefloor, in the coming months.
