The video for Machine Gun Kelly’s Lace Up single “See My Tears” delivers a pretty clear message about the inspirational power of music. The Cleveland rapper visits with various fans while out on the road: a young woman who weeps all over him, a dude who stops his bus for a handshake, and a disabled man who is moved to walk across the stage with encouragement from MGK. The bleary-eyed MC speaks on the inspiration he gets back from his devotees, and starts whittling his way through a list of nearly 400 whom he plans to call directly. Now before you consider calling the clip cheesy, consider this other clear message delivered by Kelly via Twitter:
If you hate on that video your a fuckin nazi. Get down with some real shit. Real footage, real people. Real as it gets. #laceup
