Long Winters Stranded on Fire Island

Watch frontman John Roderick get incarcerated (sorta) in the video for his band's "Fire Island, AK."

What happens on Fire Island stays on Fire Island if you're John Roderick, frontman of Seattle indie rock quartet the Long Winters. The video for "Fire Island, AK" off his band's recently released third album, Putting the Days to Bed, follows the singer/songwriter as he takes refuge in a secluded summer cabin. Roderick's band mates, who pose as police officers, spend most of the video interrupting his solitude, so it's only natural that when the frontman can finally drive away, he leaves them stranded on the side of the road.
