Watch a Lollapalooza Fan Backflip 30 Feet Into the Chicago River

Looks like concert-goers did more than just bite fingers this year

Though one Lollapalooza-goer was attacked and bitten by another attendee on the Friday night of this year's festival, another fan busied himself with much lighter fare: He did a backflip off of a city bridge into the Chicago River.

The iPhone video, taken last Saturday night (via Consequence of Sound), shows the young man climbing over the DuSable Bridge's railing in a tank top and American flag shorts while the videographer shouts, "It's gonna be cold as fuck!" As onlookers watch from below, the man launches himself into the river 30 feet below. A second video shot from below shows the jump from a different angle, in case you felt like watching the absurd plummet again.

No word yet on how fans at this coming weekend's Outside Lands Festival in San Francisco plan to outdo these stunts.
