Last week, The Chicago Tribune's longtime music critic Greg Kot reported that Eminem, Kings of Leon, Arctic Monkeys, and Skrillex would headline Lollapalooza's 2014 lineup. Now, the festival has confirmed that's true, plus added OutKast and Calvin Harris to the list of headliners.
The rest of the 130-act lineup includes: Lorde, Nas, Lykke Li, Spoon, Interpol, Chance the Rapper, CHVRCHES, Broken Bells, Run the Jewels, Blood Orange, Jenny Lewis, Darkside, Chromeo, Warpaint, Courtney Barnett, Parquet Courts, Phosphorescent, Ratking, the 1975, Phantogram, Duke Dumont, Rich Homie Quan, Jhené Aiko, Vic Mensa, White Denim, Flosstradamus, the So So Glos, Jagwar Ma, the Head and the Heart, Kate Nash, the Avett Brothers, Foster the People, Young the Giant, Portugal. the Man, Childish Gambino, and many more.
The annual fest returns to downtown Chicago from August 1 to 3. Three-day Lollapalooza passes have already sold out, at least for general admission, but individual-day passes are on sale today as of 10 a.m. Central.
