Given his Nirvana legacy, people often forget that Dave Grohl cut his teeth in D.C. hardcore bands before packing up and heading out West. So just a stone's throw from his Northern Virginia roots, Grohl led Foo Fighters through a hit-laden set, one that affirmed their stadium-filling status.
