News
There are great performances, and then there are legendary performances -- and Nirvana's set at the U.K.'s Reading Festival in 1992 is without a doubt the latter.

And now, just weeks after the 15th anniversary of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain's suicide, it has been announced that the grunge band's record label, Universal Music, will release a DVD of the entire set.
The release, Live at Reading, has been officially approved by the surviving members of Nirvana -- bassist Krist Novoselic and drummer Dave Grohl -- and will drop this November. In addition to the band's full performance, which includes Cobain wheeling onstage in a wheelchair, plus covers of Boston's "More Than a Feeling" and "The Star-Spangled Banner," the DVD will feature bonus, never-before-seen footage. Can't wait until November? An unofficial DVD of Nirvana's Reading peformance, titled Life Takes No Prisoners, comes out May 4 in the U.K. Perhaps that's the source of this YouTube clip of "Aneurysm" -- check it out.

Definitely a memorable if not legendary performance! I almost stopped reading this article when I read probably the stupidest way of opening an article..
"And now, just weeks after the 15th anniversary of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain's SUICIDE"
UMMM.. why did the author feel the need to bring this to attention. People are fully aware of how he passed away. If it was your father or brother, best friend they were talking about would you want to be reminded that they were in so much pain that they took their own life? c'mon man, show a little respect please.Other than that I was stoked to hear about this DVD!!! YAY!!
