It's from the Brooklyn outfit's forthcoming 'High Riser' EP

After the demise of their band Sweet Bulbs, Michael Sheffield and Jack Wolf decided to start Heaven's Gate, a Brooklyn jangle-gaze outfit with vocalist Jess Paps up front. It's Paps' sharp-tongued twang that lends fiery credence to “Pogo,” the first track off their forthcoming High Riser EP, a seven-song 7-inch whose yowling guitars and chugging rhythms combine for an effect every bit as sweet as the tag that graces their Soundcloud page: "Syrup."

The High Riser EP arrives digitally October 30 and physically November 13 via Fire Talk.
